This tour is a hands on. It also starts at the hotel, and it takes approximately 6 hours. Kampala being a city, there isn’t lots of experiential activities to do except cooking Baganda special meal (matooke and Luwombo), Brew local/craft beer by Banange Company (only on Friday) and coffee processing. Harvest the banana yourself, light fire, peel, cook and serve your own food with the help of a guide. Experience the whole beer making process. Understand the ingredients before they are mixed up in the fermentation vessels. Also comprehend the coffee making process from harvesting the beans to the packaging stage. Buying coffee here is cheaper compared to supermarket charges. On Wednesday's fairway hotel hosts cultural night showcasing different traditional dances from all the 56 tribes of Uganda and each ticket comes with a buffet (local food) make your trip complete by dancing to the African drum.
